Expertise / Blocked File Resolution
Service Overview
Restoring Momentum to Files That Have Been Blocked
A structured method to understand why an administrative file has stalled, and to bring it back to a clear, documented path toward a decision.
From a Stalled File to a Clear Next Step
An administrative file can become blocked for many reasons: a supporting document is missing, a requirement has been read in different ways, a query has gone unanswered, or several offices are each waiting on the other. Each cause calls for a different response.
NEX begins by reconstructing the file: what was submitted, to whom, on which basis and with what response. We then identify the exact point of blockage and prepare a precise, well-documented response, submitted to the competent office by the client or its licensed counsel.
Working with licensed legal counsel where required, and through a bilingual, bicultural interface, we aim to replace uncertainty with a short list of actions, owners and dates that the client can follow.
What Organizations Want
Clarity on the cause
A factual account of where the file stands, why it has become blocked and which office holds the next action.
The right supporting material
Complete, correctly formatted documents and explanations that answer the question actually being asked.
A path with dates
A realistic sequence of steps and follow-ups, so that management can plan around the expected outcome.
The NEX Difference
A bilingual, bicultural interface
Communication that respects local procedure and expectations, and that the client’s headquarters can understand and follow.
Method before escalation
We start with facts, documents and the correct procedural route, and reserve escalation for cases where it is genuinely warranted.
Full traceability
Every exchange, submission and response is logged, giving the client a complete record of the history of the file.
Our Approach and Practice
Reconstruct
We rebuild the chronology from the documents: submissions, receipts, correspondence and any feedback recorded at the time.
Diagnose
We identify the point of blockage and the requirement behind it, and compare it with the applicable procedure.
Resolve and follow
We prepare the response for submission by the client or its counsel, track follow-up at agreed intervals and report progress until the file reaches a decision.
